This album brings together 31 pieces of piano music composed in 2021-22. Some of these were written to provide sight reading pieces for piano students and some just for fun! They are from 4 collections of music, each with their own themes:
Daily Tunes - each day of the week I sat down and wrote whatever came to mind first - these are easy to spot by their titles.
Feathered Friends - inspired by birds, their appearance and movements, these have a variety of textures and tempos.
Hebridean Holiday - written after visiting North Uist, and inspired by the trip, from magnificent scenery to mishaps along the way!
What do you wonder? - inspired by interesting questions, with a strong melodic theme each time - easy to spot by their question marks.
